Lt Col Gurbans Singh

Lt. Col. Gurbans Singh was commissioned in 1941 in 3 Kumaon (Rifles). He  fought the 2nd WW in Africa and attended staff college in Quetta. Later he  commanded 3 Kumaon (Rifles) in 1948. He was also  GSO 1 SC in 1949 and Directing Staff at DSSC in 1950.  He then commanded the Wpns Wing at Infantry School Mhow in 1953 and was posted to Cab Sec PMO in 1956 till 1963.
