In September 2017, an event was conducted in Bangalore in association with the Vasantharatna Foundation for Arts, a well-known organization based in the city. The primary objective of the event was to honour and felicitate the families of martyrs from Karnataka, acknowledging the sacrifices made by their loved ones for the nation. During the function, around 35 families of martyrs were recognized for their immense strength and resilience. This event provided a meaningful platform for the community to express gratitude and solidarity with the families of those who had sacrificed their lives in service to the country. The collaboration with the Vasantharatna Foundation for Arts ensured that the occasion was organized with the utmost respect and attention to detail, reflecting the gravity of the sacrifices made by the soldiers.

Through this function, the martyrs’ families were not only honoured but also given an opportunity to interact with the community and other families who had experienced similar losses.
