Veer Nari Support (Dehradun) : 30 Nov 2025

Dehradun : 30 Nov 2025

On 30 November 2025, Honourpoint Foundation, in collaboration with the local NGO Veer Shaheed Anusuya Prasad (MVC) Mahila Samiti (Regd.), organised a special commemorative programme in Dehradun to honour and support the families of India’s brave martyrs who laid down their lives in the service of the nation. The programme paid a heartfelt tribute to the heroes of the 1971 Indo–Pakistan War, acknowledging their unmatched courage, supreme sacrifice, and enduring legacy.

A key highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony of Veer Naris of Uttarakhand, during which 15 families from Dehradun and surrounding areas were honoured for their strength, resilience, and unwavering contribution to the nation. As part of the initiative, financial assistance was distributed to the families of martyrs, providing tangible support and reaffirming the collective responsibility to stand by those who have borne the cost of national security. The programme also featured an awareness session, during which the stories and sacrifices of the fallen heroes—whose families were being honoured—were read out and shared, helping to foster deeper understanding, gratitude, and respect among the attendees.

Adding a meaningful and inspiring dimension to the event, local school children actively participated, helping bridge generations and instil values of patriotism, sacrifice, and national pride in young minds. The programme served as a solemn reminder of the nation’s enduring debt to its heroes and their families, and reinforced Honourpoint Foundation’s commitment—along with its partners—to honour, remember, and support India’s Bravehearts through sustained and purposeful engagement.
