Veerathon – 2025

On 23rd March 2025, Honourpoint Foundation, in collaboration with Metamorphes Foundation, successfully organized Veerathon- 2025—a half-marathon event held in the serene surroundings of Dehradun. The event was conceptualized as a tribute to the unsung heroes of the Indian Armed Forces, and it turned out to be a remarkable display of patriotism, solidarity, and community spirit.

Metamorphes Foundation—a dedicated group of ‘Military Veterans’ working towards social transformation—launched this initiative to raise funds for a unique cause: the renovation and conversion of ancestral homes of ‘Veterans and Veer Naaris/Veeranganas’ (widows of fallen soldiers) into homestays. These homestays will not only serve as a source of sustainable livelihood for the families but also act as living memorials that preserve the legacy and sacrifice of our brave soldiers in the hills of Uttarakhand.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of runners from various parts of the country, cutting across age groups and backgrounds. With multiple race categories, Veerathon-2025 was designed to be inclusive—welcoming seasoned runners, fitness enthusiasts, and families alike. The energy and turnout reflected a growing sense of awareness and gratitude among citizens toward the Armed Forces and their families.

Honourpoint Foundation collaborated in this meaningful initiative, which closely aligns with its mission to honour the memory of our martyrs and contribute to the well-being of their families.
