This is my mother’s first cousin. I understand he graduated from Sainik School Amarvathi Nagar, TIruppur District, Tamil Nadu. The rolling shield for the best outgoing student is said to be in His Honour. His father’s name is Ganapathi Subaramania Shastrigal, who is the brother of my maternal grandfather, Sri Ramachandran Sastrigal. Lt G S Vaidynathan’s sister’s son , N Krishnan, retired as General Manager from Indian Overseas Bank Chennai and is settled in Chennai. His brother G S Rajagopal (former cricketer who represented All India State Bank team] retired as Chief Manager, State Bank of India and is settled in Chennai. I have not seen him since I was just 5 years old when he attained martyrdom. My name is Sitaraman and am a Chartered Accountant. Will get contact details later.
