    2nd Lt Narinder Singh was my elder brother. He sacrificed his life fighting enemy in Akhnoor Sector . He was deployed as a Gun Position Officer of Six 25 pounder Gun ‘R’ Battery of the 14 Fd Regiment. Due to heavy shelling of enemy He was badly injured and later before breathing his last he told his couligue Lt Gurdial Singh later Col” You must take revenge”
    He was a gem of our family. For us He as a Gallant Soldier is always alive in our hearts as loving son brother & a true friend.

    This brave Soldier was a four month captain before he was shot in action.
