2nd Lt Padmakshan Arakalath

Second Lieutenant Padmakshan Arkalath  was born in Kerala.

Second Lieutenant Padmakshan Arkalath was with his regiment in Amritsar-Lahore sector in Punjab. During 6th September to 23rd September there was a gun fight with the enemy where the regiment had lost 2 officers and 12 soldiers. On 14th September 1965, Lt Arkalath was killed due to enemy gun shots in the position.

    Martyrdom:

    In the autumn of 1965, 2nd Lieutenant Padmakshan Arkalath was with his field regiment in the Amritsar-Lahore sector in Punjab. The regiment lost 2 officers and 12 soldiers between the 6th and 23rd September 1965. 2nd Lieutenant Padmakshan Arkalath, from Kerala, 23 years old, was killed due to enemy guns shelling their gun position on the night of 14th September.
