2022 at 11:32 amI can remember him from my school days when he used to be a Lt. Col. as an Instructor at the Infantry School in Mhow.
We played golf together & used to meet at the Central India Club. My father was doing Commandant School of Signals—this was early 1960s.
Story goes—he was leading his Brigade from the front, during the 1965 Operations, when his jeep hit a landmine & he was killed.
He was a fine person to know & a very good friend—God bless his soul.

2022 at 11:54 amFurther to my previous comment—I think is initials should read B.F. & not B.S.
There is also a road named after him, in Mhow.

2023 at 1:10 pmI spotted his name on the war memorial during republic day telecast 2023.
It reads BRIG B. S. MASTER.
Is there a spelling mistake or two different people?
