    A dare devil , friendly person who had a strong will to join the Indian Army from his childhood. Popular during his college days due to his baritone voice. His younger brother has also joined the Indian Army.

    Captain Anirban Das was a worthy senior and a daredevil officer with a courage that sent shiver down the spine of KUKI REVOLTIONARY ARMY(KRA), a militant group that had butchered 11 soldiers of the company he was commanding. On the fateful night he led his troops against the group and came under hy fire bin an ambush that was sprung on them. The officer did not loose the sight of teaching during training and single handedly tried to break the ambush and in the process killed two militants. He lost his life in a bid to save a group of soldiers who were trapped under LMG fire of the enemy. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
