Naib Subedar S.R. Jam Anal hailed from Birgha village in Syangja district Nepal. He joined the Indian Army after completing his school education and was inducted into the 10th Battalion of the Assam Regiment, a unit known for its bravery and steadfast service.

 

Counter-Insurgency Operation : 08 Feb 2007

 

In February 2007, Naib Sub S.R. Jam Anal was serving with 10 Assam during a counter-insurgency operation. On 08 February 2007, while carrying out his duty with courage and determination, he made the supreme sacrifice and was martyred in action.

 

He is survived by his wife, Smt. Hema Kumari.
