Rifleman Prem Bahadur SC

Rifleman Prem Bahadur hailed from Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, a region known for its rich heritage and contribution to the armed forces. From a young age, he harbored a deep desire to serve the nation and was determined to don the olive-green uniform of the Indian Army. His unwavering ambition and dedication ultimately led him to join the Indian Army after completing his school education. Rfn Prem Bahadur  got recruited into the 3/1 GR battalion of the 1 Gorkha Rifles Regiment, a regiment known for its fearless soldiers and numerous battle exploits. After completing his training, he served in various challenging operational areas and developed into a fine officer with admirable soldierly skills. 

After serving for a few years,Rfn Prem Bahadur married Ms.Urmila. As the insurgency in Jammu & Kashmir escalated, the Indian Army required experienced and battle-ready soldiers for counter-insurgency operations. Owing to his proven track record and expertise,
